What is The Greater New Haven OIC?
TGNHOIC, originally founded in 1967 and reconstituted in 1989, operates through a national network of local affiliated organizations.
OIC prepares people for today's workforce with qualities like skills development, fundamental education, superior job skills training, and employment readiness, OIC's philosophy of self-sufficient, productive workers.
OIC improves lives of disadvantaged people through training and sustainable development. OIC has years of experience in serving the poor, unemployed, underemployed and youth.

To be an equalizer for poor communities by providing quality education and training as a member of a national network of local affiliate partners. We believe investing in people is the answer to addressing the national labor shortage. We know we can ensure people of all races and all backgrounds are successful for the good jobs America’s employers need to fill.
